What the BE4291 is

What you get is a single shield lens across the whole face. There is no rim at all: the bridge and temples mount straight onto the lenses. The feed gives the material as nylon. It has wide acetate temples. The branding runs along the outside of the temple. Its signature is the large burberry lettering printed across shield lens. Colour 3001/G is how Burberry labels this version.

The numbers on the temple

Temple length is 140 mm; the lens and bridge widths in the supplier's data for this pair look wrong, so we leave them off. The pair leaves the supplier exactly as packed by the maker, so a small fit adjustment, if needed, is an optician's job.

Lens colour and finish

Lens colour: grey tampo burberry silver gold mirror. Grey is the neutral tint: it dims light evenly without shifting colours. A mirror coating that hides the eyes and throws glare back. No polarization or UV figure comes with this pair from the supplier, and we do not add one.
