A closer look at the C-SHIFTER
In the photos the Bolle C-SHIFTER is a single shield lens across the whole face. The lens is held by a rim along the top only, with the lower edge of the lens left open. The feed gives the material as plastic. An injected plastic frame is light and springy. The branding runs along the outside of the temple. Look for the ventilation cutouts along top brow. Colour BS005019 is how Bolle labels this version.
Reading the size
This is a one-piece shield, so the lens width of about 140 mm is the span of the whole lens, and the bridge figure is nominal. The temples are 125 mm. If the fit needs a tweak once it arrives, any optician can adjust it; pairs ship exactly as the maker packed them.
Lens colour and finish
Volt grey lenses are fitted. Grey is the neutral tint: it dims light evenly without shifting colours. An even, flat tint. Nothing in the supplier's data says these lenses are polarized or gives a UV rating, so we say neither.
