The BB0417S hangs them from a bar: a flat strip of black metal runs the full width of the frame, sits on top of both lenses and turns straight into the temples at each end. Below it a short, thin bridge joins the two rims, and clear nose pads on small arms sit behind that. The lenses themselves are long, low ovals that lift at the outer corner, so the whole front reads as a slim horizontal band. Every part of the frame, bar, rims and temples, is black; the lenses are a plain grey.
