The OR0017, front to temple tip
Seen front on, this is a squared-off take on the aviator, with a flatter brow and straighter sides. There is no rim at all: the bridge and temples mount straight onto the lenses. It rests on a double-bar bridge, with adjustable nose pads. The frame is finished with metal temples with acetate tips. The branding runs along the outside of the temple. Look for the red trefoil patterned outer lens borders. Colour 12C is how Adidas labels this version.
Size and fit
Written on the inside of the temple as 62-15-145, those are the lens width, bridge width and temple length in millimetres. At 62 mm across the lens this is a extra large frame. No one adjusts the fit before it ships; an optician can tweak the nose and temple bend in minutes.
